Sorry, because I mentioned cats previously, I just had to mention that I met a beautiful light worker on the weekend with a property near our b and b.  And guess what, she rescues cats and keeps and cares for every one of them herself.  She has so many different coloured cats, male, female and even a beautiful siamese cat.  Some of them have come from unwanted and dreadful homes, but they are so happy now. What a lovely lady she is.  And I will do what I can to help.  I cuddled and cooed until my heart's content.  I want to buy the property next door so I can have my cat fix every day.

That's so nice. A Cat rescuer!
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Sounds like Ingrid's Cat Haven Colleen. That's a place I'd like to visit.

Yes, I have Ingrid's details on my workplace wall, just in case someone wants a nice cat.  What fantastic people they both are.

I really have a space in my heart for all those people out there who care for endangered animals.

They are truly heroes in my mind.

Any who care for others are a treasure beyond gold.  To care for those that are shunned is even greater a treasure.  I have learnt to greet every creature I meet with joy and a smile - even the squiggly ones, the wiggly ones, even those that most people hate.  Still working on the same response to 'people' in general and having one hell of a hard time with any politician ....  but at least if I pluck an intestinal worm out of my backside, even that I will smile and try to place it somewhere safe (away from my bottom)...

If you cannot love, then at least don't hate.
If you cannot help, then at least don't hurt.

I understand my totem animal is the reindeer. I have them pop up in my life all of the time.
