Title: Rose Quartz
Post by: Roma on June 02, 2013, 12:48:35 PM
I recently bought some rose quartz for the first time about a week ago. Last Friday (on impulse) I decided to place it near my pillow to find both that night and last night I either dreamed more ... or remembered my dreams. I rarely remember dreams unless they have special significance so it's a big change for me.

My curiosity got the better of me and I just Googled rose quartz and dreams ... there's quite a bit on the web which is best summed up with "Rose quartz can also be helpful for dream recall and dream work."

I think discovering something like on the web afterwards supports the usefulness and individual character of the crystals and stones... and to think just a few months ago I thought they were "just pretty" LOL ;D

It's  quite a discovery isn't it.

Definitely :D

What a validating sequence of discovery. I think I'll try rose quartz pillowside too.

Were the dreams of a particular character or tone Roma? I wonder if the crystal influences the nature of the dreams.

I have to get my act together and put a pen and paper next to my bed. I forget very quickly but I know my mood was good on awakening both times so there can't have been anything negative or strange.

The rose quartz also seems to have a lovely mood for sleeping near in general :)

Roma, thank you for the information about the Rose Quartz and dream retention.

I currently have them under beds to reduce stress and invoke a calming emotional state.

I can't wait to test them out for dreams. I generally remember my dreams, but I would like too test out a theory I have about altered consciousness in dream-states and maybe the Rose Quartz can help with this.

I am looking to dreams to answer a very important question I have about myself. I have come close in the past, but last night I came a step closer in understanding a connection I have with another "place", beyond this world.

It is really only in my dream-state that I can alter where I am. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it is like I can transcend time and space and see this other world.

Makes perfect sense.  I often work in another world-like place when my body s asleep.

I think the whole basis of dream state is to transport us to that other place.

Which is a better reflection of our true selves, reality or who we are in our dream state?

Reality is meant to be a reflection of our true selves and in that lies the test we are to pass.

I was exactly the same Spier. I very rarely remembered dreams.

I wonder why that is? maybe something to do with the subconscious stopping the conscience part of the brain from doing damage to itself from the images perceived in dreams?

I have very vivid dream recall, they are just like reality for me.
I get messages and info all the time, some are abstract and need to be deciphered, others are very clear.
When I went on a holiday to moonta SA with Christine and Lotsa, I dreamed that
I was involved with a miners strike.    Had the details all very clearly.   I even woke in the night to hear heavy machinery pounding, it was so loud it kept me awake for quite some time.   I thought it was bull(sorry we don't allow swearing on the forum)e that the council permitted this sort of noise to be made at night.

Turns out the pounding went 24/7 in Moonta.......back in the 1800's.   Not anymore though.   It was an ore crusher!

There was a miners strike and it went down pretty much as I described it too.

Remember that Lotsa? C?

Don't know although now I'm remembering them there's nothing drastic in the content. Might be more of a distraction thing perhaps? I don't know much about dream work.

Yes I do remember that. You couldn't believe we didn't hear it that night you thought it was real. Then we realised you were reliving the past.

You can train yourself to remember dreams though.

Yes, you most definitely can!

I think  have posted before about how, when I was a child I had the most horrendous nightmares.  Even from a very small child I was hounded and hunted in my sleep.

I used to wonder why my guides would allow that.   I heard from other people with psychic abilities telling how, when in danger, their guides would step in and take them from the situation.

It wasn't until latter in life it hit me.......an epiphany if you like! ROFL!

I was being taught how to manipulate a dream......how to use a dream to fight an attacker if needed, to hunt and find an aggressor if I needed it....all of which works on the astral.   In fact my nightmares were my training ground.

I then remembered how, when being chased by what from memory, looked like a pack of dire wolves I would think to myself how I could really use a tree to climb, then a few steps on one would appear.  I would then scramble up and sit in safety at the top of a mighty fur!

I remember all sorts of scenarios like the above, where I was able to save myself from my nightmares.  Yes, I was still terrified as a child, terrified to sleep.   I never slept very much as a child.  I remember my granmother bemoaning the fact to my doctor more than once.

I also learnt some very valuable lessens that serve me very well today.  I learnt how to wake up when needed.   I worked out how to get my guides to wake me if danger approaches me unseen.  I learnt how to wake myself even when 'someone' or 'something' tried to hold me in a dream.  And that, my friends is a very, very valuable lessen.

If I can do these things , then so can you.  You just need to want to and be willing to learn the lessens when they come.

Gosh that's really interesting CE. I won't look at dreams in the same way again.

I had the same problems with bad dreams.
Title: Re: Rose Quartz
Post by: Simon2 on June 06, 2013, 12:06:16 PM
I posted previously that I have trained myself to come out of dreams if they bore me or go back into a dream if I like what is happening.

I no longer dream of monsters and the like as I managed to leave that side of dreaming behind me many years back, but that's not to say my dreams are not exciting, they are just no longer scary.

I think reality scares me more than when I am in a dream-state, with good reason.

There is a big difference between nightmares and being attacked.   There are people out there that are very good at entering your dreamstate in order to cause you as much harm as possible.  They know what they are doing and they are very good at it!

Catseyes, you are right as I am now attacked, in my dreams, at an emotional, rather than physical level.

I have more dreams attacking my relationships with my family and it is more difficult to bring myself out of the dream, but in the end I wake myself up, but it certainly impacts me at an emotional level.

When did this start Simon?
Title: Re: Rose Quartz
Post by: Simon2 on June 11, 2013, 05:25:34 PM
Christine, have been waging this "war" for some years now and it no longer has much of an impact on me, even though they try different methods of attack.

I am now able to recover emotionally, in a matter of a couple of hours after waking.

That's what I was going to ask.
Title: Re: Rose Quartz

Catseyes and Christine, can only think it is spirits that are trying to stop me from carrying out my allotted task(s) within the required timeframe.

Maybe things will become clearer after next Tuesday !!! I am hoping that I will have more clarity of purpose and who my main enemies are (one will, by necessity, lead me to the other).

This is so interesting.  I think I will purchase some Rose Quartz.  I do remember dreams but not to the extent I wish to.  Often World War 1 comes into my dreams, (at least I think it is World War 1).  I was surrounded and almost shot trying to escape during my last dream, but when any danger comes, I wake myself up.  It is a nasty feeling at the time though.

Gosh yes I imagine it would be.

Let me know if you get the same impact on dreams with the rose quartz. I'm still remembering dreams with it. I must say not bad for a $3.50 rose quartz chip bracelet  ;D

Another thing to consider, is just because it might seem like there is an attack happening it doesn't mean it is by enemies. It could be sent you as a learning exercise. Or at least be allowed to happen to teach you soemthing you were contracted to learn this life time.

I have a connection with World War I too Colleen. Have you ever read Wilfred Owen or Siegfried Sassoon's poetry? I think it would resonate with you.

Seems there are many who learned as children to shape their dreams, and exit when needed. I also consciously use  abilities in dreams that I don't have awake, like flying, teaching others to fly, leaping like there is no gravity, singing like an instrument.

I haven't read their work Violet but I will certainly look into them today.  The abilities I use in my dreams such as you mention (apart from singing like an instrument), well, I just thought that everyone does that.

White howlite looks beautiful in jewellery. I didn't know those special properties either, thanks LM.

Colleen I was surprised too to find what seem like natural and well-reasoned actions in dreams don't occur that way at all for everyone. Another subject to add to our ideal school curriculum! :)

Thats what I like about this forum Violet.  When we post our experiences we can see that we are not alone, or on the flip side, we are the same as others.  I wish I had known as a child that it wasn't normal to have a 'conscence' that spoke to you and told you when you shouldn't do something.

I like that about being here too ce. I like that we learn we are less different than we thought; also that being different from one another is accepted in some communities.

What do you think would have been changed for you as a child ce, if you had known not everyone can hear their 'conscience'?

Violet, hope you don't mind if I pop in on this subject, as I know the answer from my own perspective.

I felt very much alone and confused at the start, different in so many ways, but thanks too my Spirit Guides (I only know I had them thank's to Christine), I was "grounded" by my reading of Asian Philosophy, more particularly, about the journey of the soul / spirit through various incarnations.

Sorry, got right off the track and was going onto a subject that I will discuss in the Circus in the coming days.

I'm interested in your view Simon, thanks. What a gift from your guides. Reading philosophy would be wonderful way for a child to feel less different: realising others have felt the same confusion and contemplated the same questions. And we still do!

Violet, philosophy is just as quietening to my soul today as it has always been.

I have chosen to "drown" my soul in philosophy for the next few months (or years), whilst I contemplate the nature of things. Pretty much what I did when I was a; whoops almost gave away one of my secrets.

Lets leave that for another time!!!!

Violet, I don't know if anything would have changed really.  I might have taken more notice when they said something i was doing was dangerous.  That would have got me a few less whacks with the strap, LOL.  But maybe not, I still tend to continue doing things after they tell me not to.  The knives in the dishwasher being a prime example, LOL.

Post by: violet on June 19, 2013, 12:25:35 PM
Hehehe just make sure each knife has its own section in the dishwasher basket.

Perhaps your child self was practising listening to your own guidance instead of people on the angry end of a strap; and learning she was a strong stand for her own judgement.
