Title: Rookwood Open Day 2010
Post by: Lebay8 on February 28, 2010, 05:57:24 PM
Hi all,

The Rookwood Open Day this year is 19th Sept 2010.
Entry is free and its only a gold coin donation for each tour. The tours running cover things like history, symbolism, and other goodies. There is also a behind the scenes of the crematorium.  The Friends of Rookwood will also be running a free bus from place to place in the cemetery (which is handy as it's HUGE). There will also be some stalls and a sausage sizzle. Make sure you try the Rookwood Honey, its yummy and strongly flavoured!
This is also the only day of the year the Frazer Mausoleum is open.
