Between Trentham and Daylesford
« on: November 07, 2011, 09:09:36 PM »
The property manager at my office told me he saw a very large black cat running across the road  around Bullarto way last week. The size of a pretty big dog.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

If you cannot love, then at least don't hate.
If you cannot help, then at least don't hurt.

Yes I did indeed see a large black cat.  It ran across the Daylesford Trentham Rd in Lyonville....it ran up from the Lyonville Springs Road and darted out in front of my car.  It was definitely a cat, about the size of a blue heeler and had a very long tail.  It moved like a cat, looked like a cat but was a lot larger than a domesticated cat.

I wish I had time to take a photo, but it moved very swiftly and disappeared into a large patch of blackberry bushes, there was a large hole that looked like it was used regularly in the bushes.

Very odd.
