Berrima Courthouse

Hi All,
I notice that other than some drama in 2006 there isnt anything on this board relating to Berrima Courthouse.
I did my first "ghost tour" of BCH since 2006 last Saturday. I was with a mother and daughter who are both very sensetive, the daughter particularly tuned in to a few different spirits, what she picked up on was confirmed by our tour guides as being correct.
I have very limited sensetivity but I am certain it is a haunted location.
I was just wondering if anyone else here has recently done this tour. What are your thoughts?

Yes it isnt your normal historical tour, its a real ghost hunt where you sit in the dark. Its really good and the only place I can honestly say I have experienced something ghostly that wasnt my imagination.

I was there on Saturday! *very* interesting place! after hanging someone until they were dead, the would bury the criminal in the upright position so they could not rest in peace...
As fir the goal, the average size of the cells is about 6x7 i think. and in its day they would have 3 people in each cell... all with mouth gags for silence.
Was only there for the day (passing though to the blue mountains) However I did ask the volunteers if they have come in the morning to find something been moved that was not there the night before and the reply was no..
They also informed me that the owner (i think) did spend one night alone in there, and that was enough for him

I was at the courthouse on Easter Sunday, went to the courthouse to check it I walked around the courthouse there was only one area which was real strange, the room as you leave the courthouse with slab walls and a small chair in the room, freezing cold when I walked in, I went back a second time and the temp was normal again ...strange. I will links some pictures soon.
I grew up in the highlands so I have heard plenty of stories/folklore around the local area....
Key points of interest are convict tunnel high range, Bundanoon hotel, Sutton Forrest Hotel, Joadja, cemetery at diamond field rd and Belangalo state forrest...

I have spent a lot of time while I was growing up, in the places you have mentioned sli.
We'd love to see some pics!

Hi Ez, spewing I wasn't able to go, I always seem to clash with Kerries tours!
But for the next one I am going to make sure that I keep it clear.
So how was your night?
Lots of ghosties around?

Hi Georgous Granny, Am going tonight and for the first time I will have handycam with IR capability so I hope I can balance operating the thing for the first time and not getting too caught up with the techy stuff as well.
