We gather here today to rejoice in the passing of Flash Chat whilst kicking those responsible for it's development in the shins for it's many and numerous security problems.
We will forever have spiteful memories of poor client and server side performance, high latency, the continual bugs and lack of updates and support.
If you haven't worked out already, I'm killing FlashChat for good. They've released a new version and it's still just as bad if not worse. I'm no longer going to wait for the developer to learn to code and I haven't got time to fix the problems with it.
Currently investigating alternatives, the one I am testing at the moment is not as feature rich but is cleaner and faster (Doesn't rely on flash). Not only that it's written by someone who can actually code (My eyes don't bleed when I look at the code now
)
