The place is now owned by Christians and as such they won't let anyone in to investigate. Basically many have tried including us, it isn't going to happen. On top of that an investigation is more than a group of friends running around with video recorders. It's alot of hard work weeks before and weeks afterwards and not to be done lightly or without preparation.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

York Hospital was featured in a Paranormal Program about 30 years ago. Fantastic place. Unfortunately it has a very negative aspect that seems to be stirred up when people start to poke around. I doubt that anyone would be allowed through these days, and as C says, while a Christian organization owns it, not a chance in hell.

Exactly, I know because I know plenty who have tried including tv crews.

That cuts it. The place is probably no longer haunted...the ghosts would have moved out when they moved in. ROTFLMAO

Cripau the above link has a number of haunted place listed for each state. There seem to be a few interesting ones for Western Australia.
Some places offer overnighters that you can attend with a team of 'investigators'. That could be a good place to start and you might learn of other places that you can visit yourself.

Most of those overnight things are solely money making ventures run by those who only have a fraction of a clue.

I have looked in to York hospital myself and there aint no way in the land down under that anybody will be getting in there...... people are welcome to walk on the outside as long as they stay off the private property itself... there are a large number of other places in WA though. There are also a number of reputable groups that explore these sights.
