NEWS FLASH! The Convent, home to some of Daylesford's oldest history. Once a castle for the gold commisioner. Then home to Nuns and also a boarding school.
The Convent Ghost Tours
More than 140 years of history have impregnated the walls of this magnificent 19th century mansion, once the castle home of the Gold Commissioner. Walk with us as we explore The Convent by night and hear the tales of a bygone era and what tales it has to tell! Tread in the paths of the Nuns who lived here for more than 80 years, some of whom still remain behind overseeing their home. As the mist rolls over The Convent, we begin our lamp lit journey into the world of the unknown, of those who are still earthbound.
Bookings are essential andnumbers are limited.
Led by Paranormal Australia's Spookspotters Paranormal Research and The Convent.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Uh-oh..... no arrests please C. We've had enough drama for the moment.
May I suggest a disguise such as a nun's outfit when you visit this place. (Who knows - the ladies in black who haunt the place may take a liking to you and provide some good evp's).

Hehe, a bit of effect doesn't hurt, maybe not the full nun but a prop or two for atmosphere could be good.
I liked the lanterns they used at the night tour of the Quarantine Station in NSW. Every pair had to carry an old-fashioned lantern that draped and wafted eloquent shadows around the group. They were practical but they also created great mood.

Lanterns make sense. They actually have a function. To me, costumes say that its all a spoof, like a halloween tour, and not for a serious ghost enthusiast.
