Finally made it to Monte Cristo
« on: August 16, 2009, 04:17:26 PM »
What a wonderful homestead!  I almost asked them if they wanted to sell, LMAO!

TC and I had very limited time, but managed to squeeze in an hour and a half here.  Beautiful!  Brilliant!  Haunted!

We steped into the visitor center where you buy your ticket, a reasonably newish building I think, and straight into our first spirit.

On entering the homestead I encountered a rather stern, disaproving elderly lady who followed us through the house.  According to the owner, it is usually an elderly male that follows people, for me, I felt it was a female.

On the 2nd floor balcony there was an extremely agitated spirit, dashing about and leaning over the edge.

There was a decidedly un pleasant feel coming from the little bedroom/prayer room off the 2nd floor balcony.

The original house out the back felt very busy and a room off the stables that had all the riding tack caught my interest.

Time being against us, I didn't make any real effort to gather any spirit info.  I am hoping I will get to go back, maybe stay overnight.

Lots of pics, I will try to work out how to get them up or suck up to TC.

sounds fabulous.i love beautiful buildings like that

One day my light went out, but was blown again into flame by an encounter with some wonderful people I call friends. I owe the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light...

The same stuff I got. Cool.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Yes, all the spots you got, I got. Did you get anything on the stairs though?

Sure, send them through

Not going up the inside stairs, the stairs off the 2nd floor balcony had a 'pushy' type presence .....I would have liked to have got into the private area.

Apparently GHI had been through a couple of weeks earlier.  I mentioned that we might be interested in coming through.....he didn't say no, lol.

I have sent you the pics of the areas where I felt were the strongest spots on the day.
Did you get anything when you went into the visitor center down at the gate C?

what amazing pictures... looks like history just oozes from the place. Have to admit the one taken on the balcony caught my attention but i cant say why. Almost like I was looking for something I couldnt see.
