a bit of a story...
« on: October 09, 2008, 02:59:55 PM »
mum was telling me today about  a story that one of her friends was relaying to her yesterday.
The lady had a meeting at her house one afternoon last week, there were a group of them in the loungeroom when one noticed a 'little ball of light' wandering around the room and pointed it out to the others..who could all see it. The next half hour was taken up with trying to work out what this little light was, they ruled out any form of reflection, the light was not on the walls it was in the middle of the room and darting about quite freely.

They ruled out things like lights from cars etc..they closed all the curtains and the door and made the room darker, and could see the little ball much clearer...they checked that it wasnt a reflection from watches or jewellery or other light sources..basically they eliminated everything they could collectively think of and this light was still pottering around in the room with them..

there were people sitting on all sides of it so between them they had a 3d view.
when they opened the curtains again, the ball disappeared....

The lady who owned the house took some photos with her old camera..not sure what type but she will get them developed soon, and she is going to let mum have a look and mum will pass them on to me, and i'll post anything of interest here with the story....janine

One day my light went out, but was blown again into flame by an encounter with some wonderful people I call friends. I owe the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light...

I can't wait to see them

Look for the light in everyone you meet.
You may be the only person that ever sees it.

Cool.   Even if something doesn't show in the photos, they still all had such an interesting experience and could all see it.

I'd be interested in seeing them too!

What an experience.

By far the most usual way of handling phenomena so novel that they would make for a serious rearrangement of our preconceptions is to ignore them altogether, or to abuse those who bear witness to them.

Great story. I can just imagine them trying to identify it.

Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.

Powerful bifocals focusing on a moth?
Someone slipped more than Lanchoo into the teapot?
Cataracts?
