Cordering Cougar
« on: September 21, 2008, 06:18:53 PM »
July 1978

Grazier Mr P had an encounter in his own back yard when a cat as tall as a dog and which he estimated as 91kg.  The animal appeared out of the dusk and jumped onto a pile of boulders only a few meters from where he was feeding his dogs.  The dogs fled in panic, the farmer kept his torch on the creature long enough to see a cat-like face.  It had brilliant reflective eyes, extremely  long tail and was light brown in coloring.  He believed he had seen a cougar.

Big kitty.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Does it say where in WA CE??
We live on 5 acres at the bottom of a national park and am sure there is something bigger than any dog around here sometimes, i did see lots of evidence back in the UK, i always worked on farms and especially in the south of England we had a few "suspect" deaths!!
