« on: June 09, 2005, 05:38:51 PM »
The walk takes approx 1.5 hours and wanders all over the quiet (by night anyway) town of Richmond.

Ghost tours leave the bakery square each night after dark (weather permitting) at a cost of just $25 per person (concessions available) - Comfortable shoes, warm clothes and nerves of steel essential. Tour includes a nightcap at the Richmond Arms Hotel.

Bookings essential for this one as tours have minimum number of four people

You'll hear about:

The ghost that attacked the graveyard!
Why does the bridge have three ghosts?
What haunts the clock tower?
Do bullets go through a ghost?
What haunts cell three in the Gaol?
The ghosts of Redcoats cottage
and many more stories to send shivers up and down your spine.
Come along if you dare!

Tours can be booked on 0409 935 139
or visit the website
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Richmond was, undoubtedly, the BEST tour I have been on. In 3 days we went on Richmond Ghost Tour, Port Arthur and Penitentiary Chapel Ghost Tour. Believe it or not, I was far more frightened at Richmond than Port Arthur .... may have something to do with the tour guide. The man is a genius! I have an photo of an orb with a perfect face in it.
