Its often speculated that a single event can spark a haunting?
Mrs. Galsworthy was the landlady of the Railway Hotel. In 1902 when she was occupied, someone entered the bar parlor sprang the lock of the cupboard and took tile cash box, containing £25, besides papers, among which was the licence.
The matter was reported to the police who have suspicion of the thief, but the cash was not recovered. Is she the ghost of the old lady that haunts the hotel? Perhaps still flustered even in death over the robbery?
