Tarot and oracle type card reviews

Thank you Christine.

Weird as it seems I feel better. Probally because I told someone who is not, as you say "tripping on their own ability and self importance".

I am trying to open up I guess you call it the "inner" self as I do believe everyone has ability. Some people call it a gut feeling. I like to think someone higher is trying to lead me.

In the 70's my mum used to have large prints of 11 of the major arcana cards from this deck hanging on her wall, she gave them to me in the early 80's and I gave them away to a medium in the 90's for her to hang in her reading room.

I bought this deck in the 70's, sold it at a garage sale in the 80's and then bought a new one (nostalgia) a couple of years ago. http://www.astroamerica.com/t-aqub.html

I also found the Mythic Tarot confusing.  I had that deck but I was using the major arcana cards at my work Xmas party and my evening bag got lost/stolen.  I gave the rest of the deck away to my niece for artwork

I am not a big fan of the Mythic Deck either. All those legnds were too much for me to remember..

Hi Guys  ;D

I use the Mar seilles Tarot deck.  It's the only deck I own and I've been loathe to try the others but I've been thinking about it lol!!!!  I can't find fault with these as they have provided acurate guidance for me for a very long time now.

I love all the variations and designs of the others. Great thread!

Cheers

By far the most usual way of handling phenomena so novel that they would make for a serious rearrangement of our preconceptions is to ignore them altogether, or to abuse those who bear witness to them.

Hi

I have the mystic deck.  My first deck was the Raider Waite, but after many years still struggled to understand them.  Then I had a reading with someone that used the Mystic deck, and fell in love with them.  For me I am able to relate to the pictures as they told a story that I could understand.  I found my set on Ebay.  Though the cards are a bit thin so will wear quicker they the usual.

I have been tempted to buy the Raider Waite revamped cards, as they just have  a different energy to them, then the old set.

I have the new ones and they are better than the old style ones which I do not like. I also have the reversed (hidden) RW deck.
