« on: June 23, 2016, 10:22:28 PM »
Greetings fellow lovers of all things "ghostie" I have a strange yarn for you. A story that I am a little lost for words? Blind old Kanacki Lost for words wonders will never cease? But yes this one is strange.....

And strange and weird it is......

So weird I do not know to class this as a Ghost, Dog man, Headless Werewolf, Yowie or an Alien?

So where do I start?

Some times when you search through old newspaper stories you come across a strange as a matter of fact story that blows you away stimulating the imagination of WFT?

This little story my lovers of ghoulish yarns was in North western Courier dated May 4 1925.....

To be continued.....

The newspaper posted below said the sleepy rural farming community 11 miles from Windsor on the Bull Ridge road noted for small crops and orchards had been disturbed especially their passion  fruit orchards at the dead of night. The normally bubbly community who used to walk from house to house  at night now hide in their houses in fear. Children refuse to go to school without being escorted and women afraid of traveling on the road alone. It had been apparently seen once or twice..

Mysterious lights have been seen amongst the passion fruit  orchards. Once or twice the strange entity has been seen. One orchard grower who had lived there on Bull Ridge Road for 12 years,  claimed it looked like half man half dog? Running on all fours hairy without a head and howls like a dingo? And covers great distances exceedingly quick...

Dogs used to pick up the trail of the mysterious creature loses scent of it after about 10 yards....

The Newspaper went on the say women and children are anxious at the appearance of this strange creature.....

What was it?

While the more level headed among us would at first think perhaps it was all a hoax?

Possibly?

Or perhaps a bit of creative reporting in the newspaper by aboard journalist?

But what if it was no either of those scenarios?

Some thought it might of been an escaped Gorilla from a circus..... That found a liking to passion fruit?

Others it appears was not so sure....

Was it a case of mass hysteria?

Bull Ridge road today, you can see picture of the area posted below, is still a quite rural road with most of the passion fruit farms gone. Is there still out there some where this strange entity as reported in 1925 still lurking out there?

KANACKI, one of your more curious Posts.

I take it that there has been no further sightings since the ones in 1925?

KANACKI, I agree; we are only, in some areas, scratching the surface of the various areas we study and utilise.

Hello Simon.

I agree. Imagine if mankind utilized more of our brain capacity. And we transcend into a higher conscious level of thought? Perhaps there would be no war and the world work as one? One could only imagine or dream.

KANACKI, a number of us in the Forum are working hard to, as you say most eloquently, “...transcend into a higher conscious level of thought...".

I, for one, feel I am working towards a level of "higher conscience", but also understand that this is, at the moment, more aspirational and some more physical and spiritual lives are needed to understand, what each "word" means.
