What can you clever people make of this!

My mum has type one diabeties. I had to look after her as a child, dad being at work. It was pretty scary, mum didn't remember anything from her hypo episodes and didn't manage her health properly so she had several a week. You being her mum though and if she is still young your probably the one person who has the most infuence, if you can teach her good habits early it will serve her well for the rest of her life. You may not be able to have control over diabeties but you can teach her how to manage it empowering her.
I think it would be a good idea to find out as much as you can from relyable sources, the org here is start http://www.diabetesnsw.com.au/ and if her specialist is not doing anything to address your concerns maybe you should consider a second opinon.
