Most Interesting
« on: June 15, 2013, 04:54:09 PM »
I was just experimenting with the tarot cards and had an interesting experience...

On the spur of the moment I asked how many guides I had: Answer 3 of Swords (so 3). I slid the card into the center of the deck. Then picked a new card to confirm the number. Drew 3 of Swords. Okay I think 3 is a definite possibility LOL

Whilst I was shuffling the cards with the intent to ask the cards about my guides 3 cards flew out. King of Cups, King of Swords and Queen of Pentacles.

I think my guides might have just said hi  ;)

Awesome!
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Wow ive never had much experience with the cards but the fact that 3 keeps coming up seems to make a point of something working.
In the end all we can do is walk the path and learn and live along the way.

Violet that would be interesting for sure. It's the first time I've tried this so we'll see what happens  ;D

Yes Spier when the cards start "nagging you" with repetitions there's usually a reason  ;)

It happened to me today.  I asked a question about TC and I and firstly pulled The World.  Then asked for clarification and pulled Justice.  OK I think, this is looking good.....nothing has been working out for me so I ask can we just be sure....I pulled Judgment.    Re shuffled for the 4th time and asked for just one more for luck and pulled Judgment for the second time.  Cant remember the last time I pulled the same card 2x in a row.

Regardless of what any critic can say about Tarot cards the chances of that happening randomly are just too rare. I've redone whole spreads after shuffling and pulled exactly the same cards in the same positions.

I have had the same experience and for me the cards were pointing me in the direction I needed to go and they kept repeating until I changed direction to where the cards and my Spirit Guides wanted me too go.

Once that happened, the cards stopped repeating. LOL

Amazing. A statistician could tell us how unlikely a random repeat would be. Not sure how a statistician would explain the flying cards though Roma hehe.

Roma, in my short time I have been using Tarot Cards I find that sometimes they have a mind of their own, so I wait with anticipation your next experience.

I have, due to other more pressing requirements on my time, given up using Tarot Cards and believe me it wasn't easy.

I didn't realise how addictive they can be, especially going "cold turkey". LOL

I've just pulled out one of my decks (I haven't used mine for years) and am doing the shuffle and pull one card a day for studying meanings and have been surprised what's come out and how I seem able to have a better feel of them.

I have an open house tomorrow so it'll be interesting to see what I pull out today.
