Landslides amd sink holes
« on: February 25, 2013, 03:14:48 PM »
I am getting a bad feeling about landslides, both of earth and of snow (avalanches) and to a certain extent sinkholes. I think they will be all over the news this year.   I have had this info going through my head for the last few days so I thought I would pop it out in the either, so to speak.

If you live on the side of a cliff or under an over hang or somewhere that could be swept up, please have a good look that everything is sturdy.

Will do.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

I dreamed (15th Feb) that my caravan at Lake Eppalock slid down the hill into the lake, so I have been thinking about landslides too.

I am fascinated by sink holes.

Yes, in the dream I was in the caravan, in bed but safe

What are the chances of this being in the news so close to your warning of sink holes Mrs Catseyes?!

Oh that's awful. Poor man. You don't see this in the news much do you?

Death finds us in most unexpected ways.

I hope he did not suffer for a long time.
To practice five things under all circumstances constitutes perfect virtue;

These five are gravity, generosity of (the) soul, sincerity, earnestness and kindness.

Today read about a horse in tasmania that went down the sink!  Lucky he survived.

There seems to be so many...or is it just flavour of the month reporting and we have always had them?
