I will think on that one, especially at Chinese tonight.

When I think about a chopstick it feels extremely powerful because its use is shared and understood by so many people. It is deeply embedded into billions of consciousnesses.

Excellent answer Violet!

It's about the object having power not from what it is, but what it symbolises! Words are no different, they are symbols. However, for the word to have power you must have the recognition of what it symbolises.

Littleredpiano, like the others have said demonic entities are not that common... but it must be said that they are also not unheard of.

Thanks for the interesting question HLD.

I'm relieved to hear demonic entities aren't commonly encountered. Gary what are the particular groups who are more likely to attract them? Publishers? Lol

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

LOL.  Some cults do.  I'm thinking of a particular group... who shall remain nameless not that I think many on this forum would even know about them :)

Cults often attract them! Interestingly too I would swear to that many churches attract them too.

From my limited experience with what appear to be demons they can appear around people with drug problems. For example, I was seeing a guy who was a really big cocaine user. The first night we were together I saw a number of demonic looking spirits flying above us - darting around in every direction. I didnt understand why they were there - this was before I found out about his cocaine (etc) habit. Not long after this my mum was talking to a psychic friend in Perth (my ex and I were living in Melbourne). She told mum to warn me about this guy because he had massive drug problems which attracted dark energies around him. My mum had no idea that I was going out with a druggie. This psychic also said that I was protected from harm from these dark energies but I shouldn't push my luck. As it happened, the whole few weeks it lasted my spirit guide would tap me on the shoulder and call my name almost every time i was with this guy, until the relationship ended.

Drug use, sexual perversity (which is not necessarily a judgement - it's about how the person involved feels), other negativities of mind such as depression, paranoia etc can all attract negative entities.  Unhealthy religious sects often do too - ironically since they often market themselves as being nearer to God LOL.

Most who have good protection should not push their luck.  Even the world's best kung fu fighter will tell you that they stay out of dark alleys.  Only the stupid egotistical ones take risks.  And they don't last so long ....
