Demonic traits
« on: August 17, 2011, 10:17:44 PM »
Demons are:

  • Spiritual entities without physical bodies
Roam the earth seeking to torment those who attract them
    Have supernatural powers
    Are numerous and organised
Can inflict mental disorders and sickness on their victims
Can possess and control humans and animals
    Lie and deceive
Teach false and mileading  spiritual doctrines
Oppose all positive teachings and actions
Tremble before the invocation of God
Respect the name of Jesus and other spiritual teachers
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Wow, thank you Christine. This makes a lot of sense to me, I've been in therapy since I was 8 because I have severe anxiety. I mean ok a lot of it is probably me being a stress head but still thank you for letting me in on that!

I am not afraid of Daemons.  People can be frightening though. :(

If you cannot help, then at least don't hurt.

I was wondering about the sickness demons can inflict too. How can you tell when a demon is responsible?

I haven't knowingly met a demon but Gary, people frighten me too. At this point I cannot believe demons are more evil than people. People do such terrible things so mundanely and then commit the hypocrisy of lying to themselves about their evil.

Example. Using IVF to gender-select. I still wake up crying because a family member did this. Because anyone does this. The embryos of the unwanted gender are washed down the lab sink. When every one of my precious babies that died so early is a star in my heart's sky and my arms will always be lonely for them.

I can't begin to grasp how callous people can be. Sorry. Bad person day.

It is often hard to imagine anything more demonic than people.  From a religious viewpoint, they are meant to be totally evil so therefore I guess they should be worse than people.  Yet people have a choice and choose evil - not just once as (allegedly) the demons did but every day.  In this way I think that people can be far worse.

Hence my small but significant illustration of demons that you've already read - The Violation of Dagmod - which I think shows not only the worst of man but the future of man too :(

There is true evil in this world......and as it is below it is above.   I believe that in many ways this world is mimicked or perhaps mimics the world across the veil.

Yes exactly Gary.

ce I've often wondered if heaven and hell in fact exist right here and it is up to us to choose paradise not after death but during life.
