Hi everyone - this tour was great - the tour guides were really good and basically lead you through the site but step back and let you experience it all at your own pace.
It is a fascinating place and we had some intersting experiences there like feeling sea sick in one of the holding cells which was so strong I had to stop and try not to be ill. I have never had such a strong reaction before on a tour and about 4 out of 10 of us had that feeling.
I used a sony handycam with infra red on the night which is also capacble of taking OK still images as well (6MP). I was really worried about this and didn't want to spend the night with my eyes glued to the screen and miss out on what was happening so I used it sparingly. So here is a summary of experiences:
1: Sea sickness anb dizzyness in the female holding cell.
2. Light anomaly in the court house itself seen through IR screen - tried to get a still image of it but just missed it. Basically it was a light that came sweeping in and around one of the tour guides. It could have been a bug but was not bright enough?? Came into view and out disappeared in mid air i.e. did not fly across the screen.
3. Cold spots in the men's holding cell. Must say though it was literally freezing that night - temp ranged from 6 to -2 by the end of the night.
4. Felt a thumb in the back of my arm in the men's holding cell for part of the vigil. My friend who was next to me felt a thumb or finger moving up and down her back.
5. Judges chamber was by far the most interesting - at the beginning of the night it felt almost oppressive as we walked through. Later on it had a different feel about it.
I shot some IR footage in here and caught some very odd light anomalies. I called them orbs but they were so constant I think it needs more careful analysis. Caught one amazing light that came from the medium's chest and moved in an odd way toward me - this happened in response to a request from me. I tested the surfaces for dust in that room and it came up clean but I am thinking some of th lights had to be dust - there were just too many of them to start but they did setlle down. Also my friend was taking normal stills all night and there was very few "orbs" that were showing up.
Basically I have the footage but don't know how to reduce the file size so I can post it - I don't know where to post it either for that matter - any suggestions would be helpful. Would be interested in other's perspective on it.
