Has anyone done this tour? If so, was it any good and did anything unusual happen.  I've booked in for January

I did it a couple of years ago. Nothing unusual happened. It was fun though.

Yes
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

I also did it a few years ago. Hard to pick up anything with cars zooming down the M4 on one side and the Gt Western H/way on the other.

Bad location really.

It does seem a way busy place to experience anything.

I've done the tour, saw a couple of strange things but the lady running the tour is a little full on and loves to point out 'orbs' at the bottom of the hill. Hundreds of them..... its more like the headlights from the M4.

I've never done the tour myself, but one night I was sitting up there before the restoration work began. I wanted to get out of the car and look around but it looked too eerie.
My husband drew my attention to one of the windows in the church and you could actually see a little girl sitting there. As I went to get out of the car she disappeared before our eyes.
I later found out that the little girl was killed up there by her father who was supposed to be the vicar at the time. If that was correct I feel sorry for the poor little soul.

I did this tour a couple of years back. I agree with Lebay8, the tour guide carrys on about things that she is seeing far too much. When I went she kept yellying about the shadow spirits she was seeing at the bottom of the hill, she wouldnt point anything out to us she kept saying that we had to find them ourselves. it was interesting and cheap at $10
