Crystal dictionary and uses
« on: October 11, 2005, 11:56:45 PM »
Hi everyone,
here is a crystal dictionary covering some of the more popular crystals and some others I work with. Thanks once again to Flutterbit for making it look beautiful. It looks great. There will be some more things added from time to time such as the facets and types of crystals and a few more crystals added as well. It may be better to download the file as it is 4.1M.
Thanks
Christine

Crystal Dictionary Word version

Here it is as a PDF, about 2M. You will need Acrobat Reader to view it.

Thanks to Flutterbits brilliant Word skills we now have a beautifully laid out Crsytal forms dictionary. It covers the forms crystals come in and how to use them best.

Hey Christine,

You're welcome  :D as alway but is there some way to put the pictures back up next to the correct text?  I noticed that some of them seem to have slipped?

Hm. Bugger,
not sure about how to make that happen. I will ask someone who knows. I think it has something to do with page size and picture size.

Leave them out under a full moon and bring them in the next morning or leave them out in the sun on the lawn, garden etc...make sure your dog doesn't eat them!!

Thank you Christine and Flutterbit for the previous posts regarding crystal dictionary and uses.

I have been drawn to posts about crystal and stones today.

I think I will look into a purchase of some sort...maybe a double termination?

I'm not too sure about that sort of crystal - because I have never heard of it before.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a place to purchase a double termination especially in SA?  I would prefer to pick out one myself physically or at least see one to choose.

A double termination is a formation of crytsal. Mostly that formation comes in quartz.

I would try ebay! There is also a crystal forms dictionary on here as well which explains the formations.

Thanks Christine I will have a look on ebay.

I did have a look at the excellent crystal forms dictionary you posted - that's where I got the 'feeling' about the double termination - I also saw somewhere a reference you made regarding tiger iron that sounded interesting....

Obviously there is a need for me at the moment to research crystals and stones... Not sure why yet... but it will probally come to me when is should.

One day my light went out, but was blown again into flame by an encounter with some wonderful people I call friends. I owe the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light...
