More like a ter-might-not...

If you cannot love, then at least don't hate.
If you cannot help, then at least don't hurt.

From the quiz I'm an Owl, followed closely by a Hawk, Swan and Wolf.

I really don't know what my animal Guide is as I generally don't dream of animals.

The Drum is out; far to much noise for my family and dog, so I will meditate on it.
To practice five things under all circumstances constitutes perfect virtue;

These five are gravity, generosity of (the) soul, sincerity, earnestness and kindness.

I tried to meditate on my spirit animal outside in the open air. I just ended up having a Jack Russell take a flying leap into my lap. Yup beginning to understand why I don't meditate often ;)

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

You are a Swan! (your score: 24)

Characters: Tereus, Kalia in the Aspect of Crow trilogy

Powers: Foretelling future through dreams, dream-walking
Swans are idealistic, open-minded, and passionate. Your good nature often leads people to think they can take advantage of you, but they should be careful—beneath that serenity lies a fighting spirit. Your love is fierce and unconditional, fueled by the certainty that it should last forever.
Best matches: Wolves, Horses, Otters
Watch out for: Cougars, Foxes, Hawks

Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.

I think people need to be aware that our spirit animals/animal guides are not matched to our personality traits but more so they can match our purpose in life.

Exactly CE.

Simon I think Violet means she did the quiz and it said she was a swan.

You're right Christine, I meant my result was a swan. Funny, as I posted (pasted) that text I was being told it wasn't clear.

Where ever I go, a cat will always be in my path (well almost always).  Stray cats will always find me, I go away and on the step of my motel room, will be a cat, ready for a cuddle or a chat.  Cats sleep on our back verandah (haven't found which ones yet though), but they leave little tell tale footprints and fur.

it took a couple of meditations and a dream but I feel sure that my spirit animal is a vulture. I discovered it was a bird during first meditation. Then it took me totally by surprise when a vulture came & sat on my lap in a dream but it felt right. During a short meditation this afternoon I noticed for the first time that there was a vulture high up in a tree in my "happy place" :). I came out of the meditation with the feeling that something had clicked inside me. So for better or worse I'm going to believe that my spirit animal is a vulture.

Trust me to not get anything fluffy & cuddly.

Maybe I need to look more closely when I meditate and go to my "Happy Place".

Lol very true CE.
Simon  my "Happy Place" is endless and what scenario I choose to visit depends on my mood. I do have a favourite which is where I saw the vulture & also where I met my first and only guide (so far). As well as meditating on it I had been thinking about my animal spirit ever since I first read the original post of this thread.
