Any such group could only operate on the basis of 'proven ability' which is a problem in this area since 'proof' is often difficult or impossible unless you are a really good fake...

Gary has very many abilities Simon, but is very laid back with them all. I have to say he is a constant source of knowledge and help and has been to us for some time. He is often our go-to man.

Thank's Gary and yes, I don't like these people as well, the results are described in detail by prior member posts.

Money is a great draw card for such people. I am of the same opinion of the pseudo religious zealots on television and out in the community catching people who believe that they can fill a "void" or worse hand over their soul's and sometimes fracturing families. As for cults, don't get me started!!

I guess at some stage karma will catch them.

Karma is infallible.  The only problem I have with it is that mostly we don't understand why we get the fruits of karma - I'd have designed it to occur closer to the event LOL.  I.e. donate money, win tattslotto.  Smack someone in the mouth, all your own teeth grow inwards.  Abuse a child, all your sexual bits turn inside out, burn away and regrow out of your mouth.... (aint I mean?) 

Instead most karma fruits many life times after the original incident. :(
